Railway: Bala Lake Railway
Description: In 1903, the first Harley Davidson was built in Milwaukee in the US. 4,000 miles away, at Hunslet in Leeds, Maid Marian was also being finished. 100 years later, Harley Davidson produced a limited-edition 100th anniversary model of their Heritage Software, and I am the proud owner of one of them. This photograph shows both machines, seperated by exactly 100 years of technogical advances and, in my opinion, both absolutely beautiful in their own ways.
